Aside to dealing with the basic physical resettlement of finding a place to live, schools for children, health and other services, meeting and making new friends.

The spouse on the other hand, may also be occupied with finding a new job, perhaps dealing with professional accreditation issues, children adapting to new schooling environment. Pre-existing personal, familial and relationship issues prior to the move often get exacerbated with stressors associated with relocation and migration.
